Do you offer discounts to members of professional massage organizations?

We do not offer discounts at this time.

Can I purchase a desktop version of your software instead of using the web-based system?

Bodywork Buddy is only available as a web-based system.

What security measures are in place regarding confidential information used with your program such as my business records, client information, etc.?

Bodywork Buddy uses the same security as your online bank, such as SSL Encryption, Intrusion Detection Monitoring, and 3rd Party Security Audits.

Can I have multiple therapists on my account?

At this time, Bodywork Buddy is for solo therapists. You can certainly have many therapists utilizing the client database, but the online scheduling and expense/income tracking is geared toward single therapists.

Do you offer phone and email support?

Yes, phone, email, and live chat support is available at no extra charge.

Does this software have SOAP note capacity?

Yes, Bodywork Buddy includes SOAP notes.

How much does Bodywork Buddy cost?

A monthly subscription to Bodywork Buddy is $35.

Is there any contract?

No. Bodywork Buddy is a month-to-month service. You can cancel at any time.

If I choose to cancel, can I export my files?

Yes. You can export your client files, income summaries, expense reports, etc. as CSV files. In addition, if you ever choose to come back, all of your information will be saved and you can pick right up where you left off.

How do I cancel my account?

Bodywork Buddy subscriptions are done through Google Wallet.
If you want to cancel a recurring subscription, you can stop your subscription at any time:

  1. Go to wallet.google.com/manage and sign in to your Google Wallet account.
  2. On the "Transactions" page, click the View Order link for the subscription you'd like to cancel.
  3. Click the Cancel subscription button.

Does Bodywork Buddy notify me via email or text when a client requests an appointment?

You will receive an email notification when a client requests an appointment. You can then confirm or decline the request, and an email will be sent to your client. Text notifications are not available at this time.

Does the data I enter as as a trial convert over if I sign up as a subscriber?

Yes. Once you become a monthly subscriber, your files will seamlessly merge from your trial account.

Does your software allow me to import client data from an excel spreadsheet?

Excel/CSV imports are not available at this time. You CAN, however, import vCard standard contact information.

Does Bodywork Buddy have insurance billing capabilities?

Not at this time.

Does this software integrate with Quickbooks or other bookkeeping software?

Bodywork Buddy is built to be a stand alone system that includes income and expense summaries, so no need for other bookkeeping software.

Does this system work on smartphones and tablets?

You can access and use Bodywork Buddy via the browser on your smartphone or tablet. There is not, however, a Bodywork Buddy app for quicker and easier use on these devices at this time.

What if I sign up for the free trial and decide not to continue with the service?

After the 15 day trial is over, your account will simply expire and no further action is needed from you. Since we don’t require your credit card information until after the trial, your card will not be charged if you discontinue using the system.
